Dinosaur Versus Bedtime

Our cousin, Ryan, is turning 3 tomorrow. Happy Birthday! Robert decided to make a video of himself reading a book for Ryan and his sister Ellie. It's hard to understand Jack at the very end, but when our little dinosaur falls asleep, Jack jumps on him and yells "Wakey Wakey!".

Riding Bikes

When the boys aren't swimming at the pool, they can be found riding their bikes around the neighborhood.

Jack, again. He just couldn't stop posing for the camera. He is so proud of himself that he can ride a bike.

This is Robert's new bike that he got for his birthday. We bought a starter bike kit at Walmart and 'pimped' his bike out. He's got a rear view mirror, water bottle, personalized license plate, bike lock, and a really loud horn! Yesterday morning, he woke up and asked that I call his grandparents so that he could honk the horn really loud into the phone.

Robert's 5th Birthday Party

I can't believe my sweet little boy is turning 5 tomorrow! Before he went to bed tonight, Robert told me that I shouldn't be sad because he'll always be my baby. Awww....

We had his birthday party today at our local swimming pool. Uncle John, Aunt Michelle and cousin Whit (also 5) came up for the weekend to attend the party.

We had a large turnout. Robert has many friends and we invited their siblings, which Robert considers his friends, too. If it were up to Robert, we would have had 50 kids at his party. It was really difficult to trim down his guest list.
