Happy New Year - 2011

 We spent New Year's Eve at Austin Grill in Springfield.  We had an early dinner - kids' meals were only $1.11.  We chose Austin's because they had free face painting, and we all know how much Robert loves to get his face painted!  It's hard to see what Robert's face is in the picture below because he is wearing a New Year's Eve hat, but he is Ironman.  It looks like Jack has his nose painted, but if you look closely, it is just a big boo-boo.  He sustained a very bad rug burn on his face when he fell (or was pushed off) a climbing block at the Tysons Corner Mall playground.

The kids were in bed by 8pm, Alex in bed by 9:30pm, and I rang in the New Year by myself watching Ryan Seacrest on TV.  Woohoo!  What a wild night!  LOL
